First Crop!

We cut first crop last night!

He's laying the rows wide so it will dry faster.
Which means we will have to rake it all but, raking is fun! :)
A good tall Crop! :)
We will be chopping all 100 acres of first crop. :)

We're Back!!

Our family owns a fifth-wheel trailer RV with our neighbors.

SO this year we were able to get a seasonal campsite at our favorite campground, Thompson's West End, in Washburn, WI.
We aren't sure how much we will use it but that we know of we really like it already!
Since the camper will always be there it will be easier for us to get away from the farm every now and then, more than before.

So this last weekend we were able to go and put the camper at our site.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday we (Dad, Mom, Ariel, Toby, & Me) all went up and had fun!
You can stay at the camper dong nothing or go swimming, bike or walk in to town, or drive up to Bayfield and go shopping.

When we got back Toby was VERY Happy to see mommy, Daddy, and most of all Lucy! (she was bored without him there for 3 and a half days)

There are a lot of things to do after you get back from vacation! but its always fun to get away for a few days.

May Day!

The first of May is May Day and in our family we have tradition to go out to the neighbor’s houses and deliver May Day baskets.

What you are suppose to do is Get up early in the morning and go to your neighbors house sneak on their yarn sneak up to their door and put the basket in front of their door ring the door bell a few times and then run, hide, and wait hopefully they will hear the door bell and come out and open the door and see the basket and then it will be a............. Happy May Day!

But The Last few years we have just waited till later in the day to deliver, so this year we made blueberry coffee cake and gave them away as our May Day baskets.

Here is what we got in return!

(Although we really don’t expect it)

Lucy Is Getting So Big!!!

The Apple trees are blooming and look So Beautiful!

The Cat was having fun walking around me while I was taking pictures of the tree!
